Meet LAXsquatch
He doesn't do interviews. He's never confirmed a single detail about himself. Everything below is assembled from sightings,
secondhand stories, and one grainy photo from a 1914 team picture that nobody can quite explain.
The Legend
Nobody knows exactly when LAXsquatch started showing up at lacrosse fields. What we know is that he's always been there —
at the edge of the tree line during early morning practice, half-visible behind the bleachers at tournament weekends,
occasionally photobombing a team picture from a hundred years ago. He doesn't explain himself. He doesn't need to. He just
shows up, the way this sport has always made people show up for each other.
The theory, unofficial but widely accepted around here: he's been part of the game since the beginning, quietly devoted to it in
the way only a 7-foot woodland cryptid with a lacrosse stick can be. If the legend is real, it's because enough people have looked
up from a bad loss or a long tournament day and sworn they saw something in the distance, watching, unbothered, stick in
hand.
